our grandson was born with mytonic dystrophy. i knew nothing about it. our son went to the library at the hospital library and read everything he could find. my sister saw this book and ordered it for me. what a marvelous gift!! it has it broken down in an easy to read format.it's a wonderful book to consult when one has questions. our grandson's muscular dystrophy hadn't seen it before.he thought it was great. his book is a huge volume with terms only he would understand.bfenneman1175@sbcglobal.net
A family member was diagnosed with type 2 so I was anxious to read and find out what I could about myotonic dystrophy. This book was written very well - with language I could easily understand. I read it (kindle version) in a few short hours. I was so glad to find such a wealth of information in one place. I would highly recommend this book!
It is a very informative book. It helps the non-medical professional understand this disease. It is clear and easy to understand.
Very good, easy to read and written in simple to understand language, for the non-medical reader who has recently discovered the genetic problem in the family. It arrived in a week in good order when we were hungry for information.
I am learning more as I read it about the disease. I appreciate the understandable wording. This is a disease that runs in my sons dads family.
Small book - but the facts were good. Quite happy with this book, it gave a good overall summary of myotonic dystrophy
