Tackling the concepts of gravity postulated by Aristotle as either levity, or heavyness, tackling the notion of an earth centered universe, and most of all, taking on the established intelligentsia of Latin and Greek scholarship which did not question documents and their ideas, ultimately leading to a narrow and rigid world view with an even more rigid religio-political society culminating in Bruno'so demise; this book, as is anything written by Giordano Bruno, is a welcome edition to add to any growing neoplatonic or hermetic library, or to anybody who wants to expand their notion of the universe and it's immense scope.
so far I must admit that this is my least favorite translation
On the infinite, this book is verry difficult to read, so, one has to review it several times which consumes time and energy even if you try to meditate it. I suppose that the translater did more to interprete than to make it understandable. for him I hope that there are some lecturers out there who are better of than I am.
An excellent translation of a classic work of Hermeticism with extensive and helpful footnotes.
